What we do

Two things, done properly

Most roofers treat gutters as an afterthought they'll subcontract out. We don't — your roof and your drainage are one system, and we build both.

Roof replacement

Full tear-off and rebuild in architectural shingle, impact-resistant Class 4 shingle, or standing-seam metal. Decking inspected, flashing replaced, ventilation corrected — not shingles laid over yesterday's problems.

Seamless gutters

Rolled on site to the exact length of your run, so there are no seams to dry out and leak. 5-inch and 6-inch K-style, sized to the roof area actually feeding them, plus guards and fascia repair.

Storm & hail damage

We document impact bruising the way an adjuster needs it documented — chalked test squares, impacts counted per square, soft metals and every elevation photographed.

How claims work

Why Lux

The crew still here after the storm season ends

After a big hail event, out-of-state crews flood San Antonio and the Hill Country, sign every contract they can in three weeks, and are gone long before a warranty means anything. Ask anyone who knocks on your door for a San Antonio address that existed before the storm.

  • Owner-run. Savannah Guzman runs this company and answers the phone. You're not getting handed to a call center.
  • Everything photographed. You get the same documentation we'd hand an adjuster, whether you file a claim or not.
  • Roof and gutters together. One crew, one accountable party, no finger-pointing when water ends up somewhere it shouldn't.
  • Insured, with a certificate available on request.
  • Manufacturer certification (GAF / Owens Corning) — to add if held

How it goes

Four steps, no surprises

You shouldn't have to wonder whether anyone's going to call you back, when the crew shows up, or who to reach if something's wrong. Here's the whole thing.

  1. 01

    Free inspection

We get on the roof, photograph every elevation, check your gutters and flashing, and show you what we found. No sales theater. It costs nothing to know the condition of your roof.

  2. 02

    A written scope

You get an itemized scope in plain English — materials, quantities, what we're replacing and what we're leaving alone. Insurance claim or cash job, the paperwork is the same standard.

  3. 03

    Installation done right

Tear-off, decking inspection, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, then the finish course. We protect your landscaping and run a magnet over the whole property before we leave.

  4. 04

    Walkthrough & warranty

We walk it with you before we call it done. You get your warranty paperwork and a direct line to the owner — not a call center.

Paying for it

A roof rarely fails at a convenient time

Hail doesn't check your savings account first. We offer financing so a roof that needs replacing now can be replaced now, and you can spread the cost out.

  • Lender name — to add — application takes a few minutes
  • Rates and terms — to add
  • Insurance claim? We'll work the claim scope alongside your carrier's timeline.

Financing is offered through a third-party lender. Approval, rates, and terms are set by the lender based on your credit, not by us.

It costs nothing to find out where your roof actually stands. We inspect it, photograph it, and hand you a straight answer — repair, replace, or leave it alone for now.

Straight answers

Questions homeowners actually ask

Is the inspection really free?
Yes, and there's no obligation attached to it. We get on the roof, photograph every elevation, look at your gutters and flashing, and give you a straight answer — including “your roof is fine, call us in a few years,” which is an answer we give often.
Do I need a licensed roofer in Texas?
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, which is exactly why so many unqualified operators work here. What you should ask for instead is proof of liability insurance, a real local address, a written scope, and a workmanship warranty in writing. We'll hand you all four without being asked.
How do I know if I have hail damage?
Usually you can't tell from the ground. Impact bruising on architectural shingles knocks granules loose and weakens the mat underneath without leaving anything obvious from your driveway. That's what a proper inspection is for — we chalk test squares and count impacts per square the way an adjuster does.
Will you help with my insurance claim?
We document the damage thoroughly and meet your adjuster on the roof so nothing gets missed. We won't speak on your behalf or negotiate your claim for you, but we'll walk you through the process and make sure the scope reflects what's actually up there. Whether your policy covers it depends on your policy — confirm that with your carrier.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes in this area are a one-day tear-off and install, occasionally two for steeper or larger roofs, or when we find decking that needs replacing. Weather moves schedules; we'll tell you straight when it does.
Do you do gutters without the roof?
Absolutely. Plenty of our gutter work is standalone — new seamless runs, resizing an undersized system, guards, or fascia repair on a roof that's still got years left.
