The Hill Country is its own market
Long material hauls, a hail corridor running right through it, brutal roof-surface heat, and a building stock that runs from 1890s limestone to brand-new metal-and-glass. Roofing out here isn't the same job as roofing a subdivision in a flat suburb, and pricing that pretends otherwise is pricing that changes later.
Steep pitches on newer Hill Country builds, HOA material and color rules in places like Fair Oaks Ranch, Vintage Oaks, and Garden Ridge, and limestone walls that need flashing detailed properly rather than caulked — these are the things that decide whether a roof lasts out here.
